I really love the colours in this, and the lovely gradient effect. You've got some really great shapes in there too! :)

I really like this one. The colors are very pretty, and like the other person said. Did you use tape? or did you make it like that?

Yes I did, and unfortunatley it is obvious, it is something I am working on making not so obstuctive.

Thank you very much! Yes I did use tape, but I am still attempting to work out the kinks in it to make it less obvious. Thank you again!

I like how you are breacking up the canvas with the lines. To me they feel random though. Are you using any grid work of anything close to the golden mean theory? I like to colours. I would like to see what you would do with texture in those colour feilds.

Im playing with texture in my next peice, there is an inprgoress photo in my scraps. I am not familiar with the golden mean theory, do you care to explain? thank you again!

The golden mean is the devision of the canvas ( What ever surface or object for that matter), that coinsides with the with each part being devided into eye pleasing sections. The most common is thirds. divide your canvas into three sections along each side creating nine squares. Where the lines cross (if you have done it properly that is,) should be your main focal points. so there is four main interesting focal points in each canvas. there are sub devisions but that would take too long to explain. If this is not clear to you then i could show you, let me know.
